Franja Partisan Hospital 20% off ticket at Partisan Hospital Franja Open: from 1st of april to 30th of september, daily from 9.00 to 18.00 from 1st of october to 31st of october, daily from 9.00 to 16.00 from 1st of november to 31st of march, in case of good weather conditions for groups. The Franja Partisan Hospital is a reconstructed monument of immovable cultural heritage dating from the Second World War, and at the same time a symbol of the struggle, humanity and heroism of Slovenes who, together with other freethinking nations, rose against fascism and nazism. The Second World War was one of the most difficult trials for mankind. Like other freedom-loving nations, the Slovenes organised themselves to struggle against fascism and nazism. Clandestine hospitals were a particularity of the Slovenian resistance movement. They were built in barely accessible forests, deep gorges and underground caves. They saved lives in circumstances that are hardly imaginable today.

Partizanska bolnica Franja je rekonstruiran spomenik nepremične kulturne dediščine iz časa 2. svetovne vojne in hkrati simbol boja, humanosti in junaštva Slovencev, ki so se skupaj z drugimi svobodomiselnimi narodi zoperstavili fašizmu in nacizmu. Druga svetovna vojna je bila ena najtežjih preizkušenj za človeštvo. Tudi Slovenci so se takrat kakor drugi svobodomiselni narodi organizirali v boju proti fašizmu in nacizmu. Posebnost slovenskega odporniškega gibanja so bile skrite stacionarne bolnišnice. Gradili so jih v težko dostopnih gozdovih, prepadnih grapah in podzemnih jamah.
