A reduced admission rate applies for EYCA cardholders. Červinkovský dům (Brandlova 27) House No. 27 belongs to the oldest preserved building monuments in Kolín. Its origins date back to the third quarter of the 13th century, when the early Gothic residential core was built. In the second half of the 14th century, the house was enlarged by the addition of a High Gothic mazahaus, and around 1518 it was rebuilt in the early Renaissance style for the needs of the town hospital. The architectural development of the building was completed by late Baroque and Classical reconstructions, carried out after the fire in 1796, when the house was owned by the Červink family (between 1703 and 1837). During the bombing of Cologne during the Second World War, the building was heavily damaged. Between 1982 and 1985 it underwent a difficult reconstruction, during which its original historical appearance was rehabilitated. Since then the house has been used by the Regional Museum. Its operation necessitated the addition of an exhibition hall on the site of the neighbouring house No. 26, which was completely destroyed during the bombing of the town in 1945. Červinkovský house is the birthplace of the famous painter Rudolf Kremlička (1886 - 1932). Měšťanský dům The building houses the permanent exhibition "The Bourgeois House", the basic part of which presents the main trends in the housing and lifestyle of the 19th century bourgeoisie in the form of installed interiors. The museum presents an artistically valuable and visually attractive collection of paintings, furniture, glass, ceramics and other arts and crafts products. The exhibition is supplemented by an audiovisual programme. Another part of the exposition entitled "The Royal City of Cologne in the Middle Ages" is installed in the cellars of the house with unique early Gothic architectural details. Also interesting is a reconstruction model of the medieval appearance of Kolín at the beginning of the 15th century. The third part of the exhibition introduces the theme of "Hygiene and body care over the centuries". In addition to hygiene products, especially from the 19th century, there are also accompanying texts documenting the historical development of toilets, toilet paper, soap and other interesting facts.
